A Gusher or Dry Hole?
February 22, 2010 06:24 PM | Bookmark and Share

Interlink Petroleum Limited (IPL) is a small company engaged in exploration of oil and gas. It has signed two production-sharing contracts with the government, one for the Baola gas field and the other for the Modhera oil field in Gujarat. In 2008, Jit Sun Investments of Singapore acquired a controlling stake in it. A lot of market punters are betting on this stock but it is just too risky, despite the fact that it is drilling in a belt with proven reserves. If it is able to strike oil, the stock would be a gusher. Try your luck buying it around Rs25.
